Job summary

Our client, a fast-growing transport and logistics company, is looking for a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee and streamline operations across Lagos. You will lead a team, manage the fleet, optimize routes, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise drivers, logistics coordinators, and station teams.
• Plan and optimize routes, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Monitor fleet performance, vehicle maintenance, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and transport regulations.
• Track and report operational metrics to support data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Lead incident management, service recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in logistics, transport, or mass transit operations.
• Proven ability to manage multi-team operations in a busy environment.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics/fleet management software.
• Willingness to travel to oversee field operations.
• Physically fit and able to handle hands-on operational tasks.
