Responsibilities

Job Overview: Responsible for the physical receipt of goods inwards and the issue of stock against appropriate requisitions. Stock and stores items in good order and keep the warehouse clean and tidy. Records stock movements on bin cards and on a computerised inventory management system (SAP MM).

Store Control
• Controlling Access into Plant Maintenance (PM) Store
• Controlling and Issuing of Portable Electrical Hand Tools
• Checked tools are in good working order and safe to use
• Controlling and issuing of PPE
• Assist with sizing and ordering
• Controlling Inventory in the PM Store
• Requesting Material Codes
• Maintaining Material Codes
• Min/Max Material levels
• Critical Spares
• Stock Counts to be conducted as per requirement
• Stock requisition
• Monthly stock reports
• Other Ad hoc Requests
Housekeeping
• Ensure Stores are always neat and Clean
• Everything should be packed or binned and organized
• Everything should be labeled
• All documents should be organized and filed
Safety
• Always wear safety gear (PPE)
• Aware and adhere to food safety standards
• Aware and adhere to safety standards

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Computer literacy
• SAP H4/SAP R3 or knowledge of Inventory management system
• Forklift Operation
• Two to three years’ relevant experience in Store Control
