Job Title: Tender Officer

📍 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Delta Instrument Technology is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tender Officer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full tender process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, coordinating documentation, and supporting the company’s procurement and bidding activities with professionalism and efficiency.

Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reviewing daily newspapers and checking tenders from different sources
• Coordinate and prepare tender submissions, ensuring that all documents meet the required specifications and deadlines.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data, insights, and resources for effective bid preparation.
• Ensure all bids comply with legal, financial, and company regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Conduct thorough research on market trends and competitor activities to develop strategic approaches to tender submissions.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers to facilitate the tender process and gather relevant information.
• Maintain organized records of all tender documents, submissions, and correspondence for audit purposes.
• Prepares reports for the management such as summary schedules, tender overviews, competitive overviews and cost/price summaries, evaluation reports, and annual plans.
• Participating in tender openings
• Following tender status after submission
• Preparing a monthly tender status report

Requirements
• BSc Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory Technology, Pharmacy
• Basic computer application skills, knowledge of the Tender process
• 1-2 years’ experience in International tender preparation is a plus.
• Proficiency in English & Amharic
