• Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Bancassurance Development Team Leader located in Embu, Meru, Muranga and Nyeri, Kenya. The Bancassurance Development Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Bancassurance team, driving business growth, and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities include building and nurturing relationships with banking partners, developing and implementing strategic plans, monitoring team performance, providing training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Qualifications
• Proven leadership and managerial skills, including team performance management and coaching
• Strong sales, business development, and relationship management capabilities, particularly in the insurance or financial services industry
• In-depth understanding of insurance products and services, as well as bancassurance operations
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant business tools
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Professional qualifications such as ACII, AIIK, or related certifications are an added advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of the Kenyan insurance market and regulatory environment
