Boilermaker

• Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Boilermaker to join our team in a full-time, on-site position based in Alberton. The Boilermaker will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining boilers, tanks, and other large vessels. Key daily tasks include interpreting blueprints, performing welding and metal fabrication tasks, repairing or replacing components, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in all operations. The role also requires collaboration with team members and adherence to timelines to complete projects effectively.
• Qualifications
• Proficiency in welding, including TIG welding and oxy-acetylene techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings
• Expertise in metal fabrication, with experience in shaping, cutting, and assembling metal components
• Understanding and application of workplace safety standards and procedures
• Physical fitness and manual dexterity to handle demanding tasks in industrial environments
• Relevant certifications or formal training in welding, boilermaking, or related fields
• Prior experience in a similar industrial, construction, or engineering capacity is a plus
