Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Certified Nursing Assistant role located in Nairobi.
The Certified Nursing
Assistant will assist patients with daily care activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, recording patient information, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and providing emotional support to patients. Additionally, the role requires effective communication with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in basic patient care duties such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and assisting with mobility
• Ability to monitor and record vital signs and other key health indicators accurately
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Strong organizational skills to maintain records and ensure patient care facilities are clean and safe
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent qualification
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and hygiene practices
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
