Role Description
This is a full-time, fieldwork at healthcare facilities in Mombasa, Nairobi, Mandera, Moyale, Elgeyo Marakwet, Bomet, for a Clinical Research Assistant.
The Clinical Research
Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of research studies, collecting and analyzing data, maintaining accurate research documentation, and ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities also include collaborating with research teams, communicating findings effectively, and utilizing medical terminology for precise recording and reporting. The role involves contributing to laboratory work and possibly interacting with participants to ensure smooth operations within the scope of clinical research projects.
Qualifications
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities to work collaboratively in research teams and interact with participants.
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology to ensure accurate documentation and interpretation within a clinical research setting.
• Experience in Research methodologies and data collection techniques.
• Laboratory Skills to coordinate and conduct hands-on work as required within clinical research studies.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accurate record-keeping and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines is advantageous.
