Globe 24-7, in partnership with a leading mining company, is seeking an experienced Consultant Geologist – Tungsten Specialist (6-Month Contract) to join their team in Zimbabwe.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Geologist with specialist expertise in tungsten mineralisation to provide technical guidance across exploration, resource evaluation, and project development stages. This is a 6-month engagement requiring an agile, self-directed professional capable of quickly assessing existing datasets and delivering actionable recommendations.
The Responsibilities
• Provide technical expertise on tungsten deposits, including deposit geology, mineralisation controls, and resource characterization.
• Evaluate and interpret existing geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets to inform exploration and development strategies.
• Support resource estimation, technical studies, and project development planning for tungsten-focused projects.
• Prepare concise, high-quality technical reports for stakeholders, clearly summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Work autonomously within a defined project scope, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and to agreed standards.
• Liaise with project teams and external consultants to ensure smooth execution of technical objectives.
The Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in geological exploration, with proven expertise in tungsten mineralisation and associated deposit types.
• Demonstrated experience across exploration, resource estimation, and project development stages.
• Strong knowledge of geological modelling, mineralisation controls, and tungsten deposit systems.
• Proven ability to analyze datasets quickly and produce actionable, practical technical recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex geological concepts to stakeholders.
• Professional accreditation in geology or related field is preferred.
