We are seeking Country Sales Executive - Rwanda to lead TeKnowledge’s market expansion, revenue growth, and in-country operations. This role combines strategic sales leadership (75%) with country-level operational leadership (25%), ensuring strong commercial performance and effective local execution.
The successful candidate will act as the face of TeKnowledge in Rwanda, driving enterprise and government sales while building a scalable business presence aligned with TeKnowledge’s Africa strategy.

Responsibilities
1. Revenue Leadership & Market Expansion
• Own and deliver Rwanda country revenue targets, pipeline growth, and sales strategy execution.
• Build and execute a country go-to-market (GTM) strategy across key sectors (Financial Services, Public Sector, Telco, Enterprise).
• Identify, originate, and close large, strategic deals in AI, Cybersecurity, CX, and Digital Transformation.
• Develop and maintain C-level relationships across government and enterprise accounts.
• Drive pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and deal governance.
• Lead partner ecosystem development (local and global alliances) to accelerate market penetration.
• Position TeKnowledge as a trusted advisor in Rwanda’s digital transformation agenda.
2. Strategic Account & Ecosystem Leadership
• Personally manage and grow a portfolio of high-value strategic accounts.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams (technical, delivery, partners) to win and expand accounts.
• Identify new market opportunities, including public sector programs and national digital initiatives.
• Lead strategic bids, negotiations, and commercial structuring.
3. Country Leadership & Operations
• Provide in-country leadership for the Kigali office, ensuring operational effectiveness and alignment with regional strategy.
• Act as the local leader for TeKnowledge, representing the company with regulators, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee basic operational governance (team coordination, compliance, reporting, and local engagement).
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development of local talent and capabilities.
• Ensure strong collaboration between sales, delivery, and regional leadership teams.
4. Leadership & Culture
• Lead by example in building a high-performance, accountable sales culture.
• Coach and influence teams without relying on hierarchy (matrix leadership).
• Embed TeKnowledge values across customer engagement and internal operations.
Qualifications:
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales and leadership roles.
• Proven track record of owning and exceeding country or regional revenue targets.
• Strong experience in Cybersecurity, AI, CX, or Digital Transformation services.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and sell to C-level executives and government stakeholders.
• Experience building or scaling business operations in emerging markets (Africa preferred).
• Strong commercial acumen (pipeline, forecasting, deal structuring, and partner strategy).
• Fluency in English (French is a strong advantage for Rwanda context).
• Willingness to travel regionally.
