Role Overview
The Digital Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for owning and executing Marlocks Technologies’ digital marketing, corporate communications, event planning, and marketing-led demand generation strategy. This role is critical to brand positioning, audience engagement, lead generation, and supporting revenue growth through a structured marketing-to-sales pipeline.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of planning, executing, and measuring marketing initiatives across digital channels, events, and corporate communications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution
• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and revenue targets.
• Manage all digital channels including website, email marketing, SEO/SEM, paid ads, social media, and content platforms.
• Plan and execute lead generation campaigns that feed directly into the sales pipeline.
• Optimize conversion funnels, landing pages, and campaign performance using data and analytics.
• Own marketing automation tools, CRM integrations, and campaign tracking.
2. Content Development & Brand Communications
• Lead content strategy across blogs, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, presentations, and social media.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials.
• Develop compelling messaging for ICT, cloud, and technology-focused audiences.
• Manage internal and external communications including announcements, thought leadership, and press releases where applicable.
3. Events Planning, Coordination & Logistics
• Plan and execute marketing events including webinars, workshops, product launches, conferences, partner events, and networking sessions.
• Own end-to-end event logistics: venue coordination, vendors, registrations, communications, branding, and post-event follow-up.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to align event themes with business priorities.
• Track event ROI and ensure events generate qualified leads and opportunities.
4. Marketing Operations & Sales Enablement
• Work closely with the Sales team to align marketing activities with sales goals and pipeline targets.
• Develop sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, brochures, one-pagers, and proposal content.
• Define and track marketing KPIs including MQLs, SQLs, CAC, conversion rates, and campaign ROI.
• Manage marketing budgets, vendors, agencies, and external partners.
5. Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance and audience engagement.
• Use insights to refine messaging, targeting, and channel strategies.
• Stay updated with emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 5 years proven work experience in Digital Marketing, Communications, or a similar role.
• A minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) in a First Degree from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing end-to-end digital marketing campaigns.
• Strong understanding of marketing funnels, demand generation, and pipeline-driven marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Added Advantages (Strongly Preferred)
• Experience or strong understanding of ICT, Technology, or Cloud-based businesses.
• Knowledge of Cloud services, SaaS, or enterprise technology sales cycles.
• Relevant Digital Marketing certifications (Google, HubSpot, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Experience supporting B2B sales teams with lead generation and sales enablement.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
