Description
This role is ideal for logistics and operations professionals to join the Casablanca office as a Logistics Specialist, supporting end-to-end inbound and outbound shipments, local distribution, and inventory coordination. Working closely with Customer Service, Finance, and external logistics providers, you will ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and compliant import/export processes. You will also contribute to continuous improvement of logistics performance, helping the team deliver reliable service to customers across Morocco.
Role expectations
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effective transport solutions.
• Manage import/export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, airway bills) and coordinate customs clearance with brokers and freight forwarders.
• Track shipments proactively, escalate delays, and provide status updates to internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
• Support order fulfillment and distribution activities, including packing, labeling, and dispatch to customers and/or partners.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and returns processing as needed.
• Execute logistics and inventory transactions in the relevant ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) and produce operational reports.
• Manage relationships with local couriers and transport providers; monitor service levels and support performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable local regulations related to shipping, imports, and product handling.
• Partner cross-functionally (Customer Service, Finance, Regulatory/Quality, Sales) to resolve delivery issues and improve customer experience.
• Provide logistics support for internal activities in the Casablanca office (e.g., shipments for events, material coordination) as required.
What we're looking for
• Proficiency in ERP/CRM tools (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred).
• Solid understanding of international shipping terms (Incoterms), customs documentation, and basic trade compliance concepts.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to coordinate with multiple external vendors (forwarders, brokers, couriers).
• Continuous improvement mindset (KPIs, root-cause analysis, process optimization).
• Available to work full-time in the office (5 days per week)
