Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Exploration Geologist based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Senior Exploration Geologist will be responsible for conducting geological mapping, overseeing logging and drilling operations, analyzing core samples, and interpreting geochemical data. The role involves planning and executing fieldwork, managing exploration projects, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to assess mineral resources. The role also includes mentoring junior geologists and preparing technical reports based on findings.

Qualifications
• Strong expertise in Geological Mapping and Core Logging
• Proficiency in Drilling operations and techniques
• Solid understanding of Geochemistry and its applications in resource exploration
• Experience in data interpretation and report preparation
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team with more than 10 year experiance
• Familiarity with exploration software and tools
• Bachelor's aand Master's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field
• Previous experience in mineral exploration or related industries is a plus
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork as required
