Sourcing Specialist

Job Specification -Key roles and responsibilities
• Develop and implement commodity sourcing strategies aligned to business goals
• Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery to achieve optimal cost and service levels.
• Lead end-to-end procurement processes from supplier selection to order fulfilment.
• Drive cost reduction and value improvement initiatives
• Analyse market trends to inform sourcing strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities, risks, and pricing movements
• Lead strategic supplier relationships and performance reviews
• Collaborate with operations, planning, and finance teams on demand and supply alignment
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintenance , Repair and Operational expenses Materials (MRO)
• Services , such as Cleaning and Security
• Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Spares
• Packaging Materials
Core Skills and Competencies:
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends, financial data, and supply/demand metrics to inform purchasing decisions.
• Negotiation & Contracting: Expert-level skills in negotiating vendor contracts, pricing, and terms to minimize costs and risk.
• Supply Chain & Operations: In-depth knowledge of procurement processes.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Developing and maintaining strong, ethical partnerships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
• Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to work across departments, manage teams, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or similar,
• Experience: 5–10 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
