Head of Logistics

Position Overview

The Head of Logistics will develop and execute the overall logistics strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will oversee warehousing, transportation, inventory, and distribution across all regions.

Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee end-to-end warehousing, ensuring optimal asset utilization, safety compliance, and capacity planning.
• Inventory Control: Drive inventory accuracy, lead cycle counting, and ensure FEFO/FIFO compliance.
• Logistics Management: Direct freight management, plan daily truck allocations, and manage 3PL partner performance.
• People Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, defining succession plans and fostering a culture of accountability.

Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Management Sciences, or Supply Chain. Master’s preferred. Professional Certificate in logistics is mandatory if the degree is unrelated.
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience managing Warehouse and Logistics for FMCG, including 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• 3PL Experience: At least 3 years managing 3PL partners for warehousing and distribution.
• Skills: Advanced ERP systems knowledge, Data Savvy, and Strategic Leadership.
