Account Manager – Platinum Mining (Production and Processing)

We are on the search for an experienced, highly driven individual – with experience in Mining and/or a Construction related field. This individual will take ownership of market share for Hilti for all activities in the assigned territory and further develop
profitable sales.
This role looks after our Platinum Mining client segment -Production or Processing. This is no ordinary sales
job - if you are able to work in a fast-paced, unique environment - then we are looking for you.
This role is designed to offer an exciting opportunity to step into a dynamic customer-facing environment, while gaining
valuable skills and exposure that will prepare you for possible future responsibilities in a leadership/management role.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need :
• Completed Bachelor’s degree/Postgraduate qualification(Honors) – MBA is a plus
• Minimum 3 – 5 years working experience in a Mining/Construction related role (experience in the field of Mining is a
plus)
• A solid understanding of strategic sales and sales processes, with exposure to developing a fact base, customer data
analysis and pricing.
• Successful experiences in working with large sales teams and proven leadership experience.
• Evidence networking across multidisciplinary teams – this includes relationship development at senior management
level (Owner, GM, CEO, HOD’s).
• Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
• Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal).
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to structure clear presentations and simplify a message.
