Applicable Engineering Aid Certificate
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Relevant experience in heavy industry, gained preferably in a furnace smelting operation
Good communication skills
Able to work under pressure, Initiative
Knowledge of the HSEC system
JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be reporting to the Artisan (Boilermaker) for the following:
Assistance in maintaining and repairing plant equipment and installing new equipment when required
Assistance in planned maintenance system inspection with artisan
Overtime will be worked when so required
Shift work can be expected during shutdowns
Standby work will be worked when so required
Adhering to safety rules and regulations. Ensuring proper shift take over
