Role Description

We are seeking dynamic and engaging individuals to appear on our YouTube channel as part of our creative content initiatives. This full-time, on-site role will be based in Abuja and involves active participation in video production, online audience engagement, and creating relatable, high-quality content.
Responsibilities include performing in front of the camera, collaborating with the production team, contributing ideas for new content, and representing the company with enthusiasm and professionalism.

There is no single type of person we cast. We cast across all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. But across every segment, the people who make the best content share a few things:

Honest. You say what you actually think, not what sounds good.

Self-aware. You know your flaws and you are not defensive about them.

Comfortable on camera. Not polished. Comfortable. There is a difference.

Competitive or opinionated. You care about outcomes. You have a point of view. You do not sit on the fence.

Reliable. When you confirm a shoot day, you show up.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU APPLY

• This is a volunteer appearance. You will not be paid to participate. What you will get is real screen time on a growing YouTube channel, clips of your appearance for your own social media, and the experience of being part of something being built from the ground up in Nigeria.

• Your episode will be published. Once you appear on Daring Tomato, your footage will be edited and published on YouTube and promoted on Instagram and TikTok. You will be asked to sign a media release form before filming confirming your consent.

• You will be fully briefed before your shoot day. Every participant receives a full briefing document for their specific segment covering the format, the rules, what will happen, and what to expect. You will not arrive on set without knowing exactly what you signed up for.

• There are real prizes on competitive segments. Social games episodes have real cash prizes. You could go home with money. You could go home empty handed. Either way, it will be entertaining.

• We shoot in Nigeria. Specific shoot locations are confirmed at the time of casting. Travel arrangements and logistics are discussed individually with confirmed participants.

Qualifications

• Must be
available for a full shoot day
when your episode is scheduled, typically 3 to 4 hours on set

• Must be
willing to sign a media release form
confirming your consent to be filmed and published

• Availability to work full-time on-site in Abuja

• Must be
genuinely yourself.
We screen out people who are performing for the camera during pre-screening calls

• There are no other requirements. You do not need to be a certain height, weight, or look. You do not need social media followers. You do not need presenting experience. You just need to be real.
