We are seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist to act as a remote HR liaison supporting employee onboarding, payroll setup, documentation management, and employee relations. This role is key in ensuring HR and payroll processes are accurate, organized, and handled professionally, while reducing the administrative workload for management.
Responsibilities
• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding processes, including I‑9 verification and system setup.
• Maintain and update employee files, documentation, and performance records.
• Assist employees with access and setup in HRIS, workforce management, and payroll systems.
• Support payroll setup, direct deposit changes, and timekeeping documentation.
• Review resumes and support candidate sourcing when required.
• Respond to HR‑related emails and calls from employees and management.
• Act as a neutral point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and secure handling of payroll and HR information.
Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll administration, HR administration, or related operational support roles.
• Proven experience with employee onboarding, documentation, and payroll processes.
• Familiarity with HRIS or workforce management systems.
• English proficiency at C1 level (advanced) — clear pronunciation, strong articulation, and professional fluency required.
• Experience assisting employees with system access, logins, and documentation workflows.
• Solid understanding of handling sensitive payroll and personal information securely.
• Familiarity with U.S. payroll processes preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable working across multiple systems.
• Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Professionalism, discretion, and strong employee‑support mindset.
