Work Schedule: Monday – Sunday 8:30am-8pm(Rotating weekend day off)

Job Summary

Shop Perfect Supermarket is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory / Procurement Officer to manage stock levels and coordinate the procurement of goods. The successful candidate will ensure timely purchasing, accurate inventory records, and consistent product availability while minimizing stock shortages and excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability at all times
• Prepare and process purchase orders for goods and supplies
• Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Track deliveries, confirm quantities, and resolve supply discrepancies
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock systems regularly
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile inventory variances
• Collaborate with store management to forecast demand and plan procurement
• Identify slow-moving or fast-moving items and make restocking recommendations
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of inventory
• Support loss prevention and stock control procedures

Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum of a OND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

(Relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education)
• Proven experience in inventory management, procurement, or store operations preferred
• Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work accurately under minimal supervision
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with inventory systems and basic computer applications

Preferred Skills
• Experience in supermarket or retail inventory management
• Knowledge of vendor sourcing and cost control
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
