• *Position: IT HeadInfrastructure, ERP, Security
• *Job Location: Nairobi, Kenya
• *Experience:
• 10+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, ERP/MES systems, and industrial IT.
• Proven track record in process automation, IT efficiency, and digital transformation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• *Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• *Key Responsibilities:
• *Security & Risk Management
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to safeguard plant systems (ERP, MES, SCADA, IoT).
• Establish and enforce IT policies, access controls, and compliance local regulations.
• Lead incident response planning, monitoring, and recovery efforts.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• *Process Improvement
• Drive digital transformation initiatives to automate workflows and enhance production efficiency.
• Integrate shop-floor systems with enterprise IT for real-time visibility and analytics.
• Collaborate with operations to identify bottlenecks and deploy IT solutions that improve throughput.
• Champion continuous improvement using lean IT practices.
• *IT Efficiency
• Oversee IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud) ensuring high availability and resilience.
• Optimize IT budgets through cost-effective solutions, cloud adoption, and vendor negotiations.
• Establish KPIs for IT performance (uptime, response times, support resolution rates).
• Ensure scalability of IT systems to support plant growth and innovation.
• *User Experience & Support
• Deliver intuitive, reliable IT systems that reduce training time and improve productivity.
• Build responsive IT support channels with clear SLAs.
• Enable secure mobile and remote access for supervisors and engineers.
• Conduct training programs to improve digital literacy and adoption of new tools.
• *Key Competencies:
• Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and IT integration.
• Ability to balance security, efficiency, and user experience.
• Collaborative leadership style with focus on continuous improvement.
