Job Description

*JOB TITLE: LIFT /ELEVATOR TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: ABUJA, NIGERIA

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME

SALARY: ATTRACTIVE*

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lift/Elevator Installer and Maintenance Officer to join our team in Abuja, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of lift and elevator systems. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of the job.
Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of Lift/Elevator Systems
• Maintenance and Servicing of elevators
• Troubleshooting and Repairs of elevators
• Safety Compliance and Inspections
• Modernization and Upgrades
• Documentation and Reporting
• Customer Relations

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: Diploma or certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in installing and maintaining lift/elevator systems.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in lift/elevator operations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.

Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to lift installation and maintenance.

Key Competencies

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring that installations and repairs are completed to the highest standards.
• Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to following safety procedures and regulations.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to clients and team members.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must hold a valid electrician or mechanical technician license.
• Certification in lift/elevator installation and maintenance is highly desirable.

Working Conditions:

• Must be available to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites across Accra and surrounding regions.
• Ability to respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
