We are hiring for Mechanical Technicians for a leading construction company of Nigeria. As a Mechanical technician, you will be part of maintenance team at the Pipe Plant in
Lagos
. This role focuses on the upkeep and repair of industrial mechanical and hydraulic systems to ensure the plant operates at peak efficiency with minimal interruptions.
Key Responsibilites
:-

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and hydraulic systems within the pipe plant.

• Diagnose faults in plant machinery and implement effective corrective actions.

• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.

• Monitor and maintain hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and pipelines.

• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, reports, and logs.

• Collaborate with other maintenance and production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and maintain a safe working environment.

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Requirements
:-
Education & Qualification

• OND/HND or Trade Test certification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience working with mechanical and/or hydraulic systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults efficiently.

• Familiarity with industrial maintenance tools and equipment.

• Basic understanding of electrical systems is an added advantage.
