Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a disciplined and highly alert Security Guard with a retired military or strong military background to ensure the safety and protection of people, property, and assets at Micasso Tiles Plaza ? Spintex. The ideal candidate must demonstrate professionalism, good judgment, and strong adherence to security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all entry and exit points of the facility.

• Conduct routine patrols around the premises, showroom, and external areas.

• Maintain high visibility to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.

• Operate CCTV systems and report suspicious activities immediately.

• Verify visitor, and vendor access according to company procedures.

• Manage vehicle movement and guide parking within the plaza.

• Respond promptly to security alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.

• Provide first-line response during fire, accidents, or safety incidents.

• Preserve incident scenes for investigation and document reports.

• Offer assistance to customers entering the plaza when required.

• Ensure the safety of staff and customers during working hours.

• Enforce company rules, safety standards, and security protocols.

• Maintain accurate daily logs, incident reports, and handover notes.

• Report security breaches, hazards, or irregularities to management.

• Support investigations and compliance activities as needed.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum 3?5 years of experience in security or protective services.

• Basic education (SHS/WASSCE) or equivalent; military training is an advantage.

• Strong discipline, integrity, and attention to detail.

• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.

• Good physical fitness and stamina.

• Strong observation and reporting skills.

• Ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.

• Familiarity with security equipment (CCTV, radios, scanners).

• High sense of duty and confidentiality
